Award winning international film to be screened @ Campus Theatre

Produced by Professor Coralynn Davis, Women and Gender Studies, this award-winning hybrid documentary film centers on the role that women’s stories can play in subverting the patriarchal structures in Mithila, South Asia. The film will be screened at the International Feminist Activism Film Festival on April 16. 2024 at 7pm.

On Wednesday, April 17 a series of short films on the topic of feminist activism from around the globe will be screened. Films are from Nicaragua and Chile.

The Film Festival is sponsored by the departments of Women’s and Gender Studies, Latin American Studies and the The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity and Gender (CSREG).
